The Idaho Assistive Technology Project (IATP), part of the Center on Disabilities and Human Development at the University of Idaho, administers National Deaf Blind Equipment Distribution Program (NDBEDP), which is promoted as iCanConnect.
IATP’s mission is to “make technology the great equalizer,” by increasing the availability of assistive technology devices and services to Idahoans with hearing and vision loss as well as other disabilities. Through iCanConnect/Idaho, IATP is providing tools and training to enable deaf-blind Idahoans of all ages live more independent lives.
