With a goal of getting assisting technology into the hands of Americans with combined hearing and vision loss the National Deaf-blind Equipment Distribution program which is federally funded was able to start iCanConnect thanks to the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility act of 2010.

What iCanConnect does for qualified people is it gives them technology equipment used for communication, with installation, and technical support all at no charge.Braile devices, computers, mobile devices and phones are just a few of the available communication aids that are distributed through this program.

For 2013 the state of Montana has around $70,000 to get assisting technology into the hands of those who need it.For more information call 1800-825-4595 or visit www.iCanConnect.org
